Feature Friday – Larkin Solicitors
Each week we like to reach out to those who are a part of the Gray Office Park Community to hear more about their business! This week we had a chat with Larkin Solicitors. Larkin Solicitors has been a part of the Gray Office Park community since 2017 and we thought it was the right time to share more about the company.
Larkin Solicitors provides a full and comprehensive legal service with offices in Gray Office Park and our principal office in Gort, South Galway.
We have three partners in the practice, Deirdre Larkin, Deirdre Brophy & Ann Gillane with over 30 years experience between us. Deirdre Larkin heads up our Conveyancing & Probate practice. Deirdre Brophy & Ann Gillane both specialize and have particular expertise in Family Law with Ann concentrating mainly on the South Galway, Clare and Limerick region although she does also attend Court in Galway City as required ! Deirdre Brophy practices mainly in Galway City and Mayo areas. All three solicitors also deal with personal injury litigation at all Court levels.
In late 2017, we took an office in Gray Office Park which has really benefitted our practice as well as our clients. As two of our solicitors live in Galway City it really optimizes our time for both our client and home commitments. We expect 2019 will continue to challenge us and we are determined to build on our success to date. We are currently designing our new website and that is an exciting development for the practice.
We look forward to continue serving our clients, old and new at Gray Office Park. No issue is too big or small for us to handle. We are happy to advise on all areas of law as required and within our legal expertise.

The growth of our business particularly in Galway City since taking an office in Gray Office Park in late 2017. Our main office is in Gort, South Galway

You are never bored in Galway, be it attending theatre or enjoying the great outdoors, there is always something to enjoy in our beautiful vibrant city.
What is your goal for 2019? Personal or business related!

Jason has been a part of the Gray Office Park community for the past few years now and we thought it was the right time to share more about the company.

What is the most rewarding part about the work you do?
“Growing up, I was always fascinated by the judicial system depicted through TV and film and always believed it was an important profession that could make a positive contribution on both an individual and societal level. Fundamentally, law and the practice thereof, is about people, so achieving success can be largely dependent on the combination of requisite legal knowledge and complimentary people skills. It is always very rewarding to achieve the optimum result for clients and particularly in cases where you feel justice has prevailed”.
What was a highlight of 2018 for you?
“I was delighted that both the firm and I received five award nominations at last year’s Law Awards, in categories alongside long established law firms. I was extremely proud and honoured to have won “Connacht/Ulster Sole Practitioner/Sole Principal of the Year” and to receive such valued recognition from my industry peers and colleagues”.
What do you love most about Galway?
“Galway is a great city to live and do business in. When setting up the firm in 2015, I was very conscious of having the main office in Galway and returned from Dublin to do so. Galway has the perfect balance to enhance ones family life and business endeavours. There is also a very positive and innovative atmosphere around the Galway business community”.
What is your goal for 2019? Personal or business related!
“The firm’s success has been beyond my expectations to date and I am thoroughly enjoying the chance to steer the firm in the innovative direction I envisaged at its inception.
